Black and Brown Lives Matter in the Coachella Valley Vigil

Valley religious leaders are organizing a Black and Brown Lives Matter in the Coachella Valley Vigil to address racial injustice and violence in local and national communities of color.
This is in response of the recent police slayings of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in New York.
Tonight we spoke with Reverend Suzanne Marsh of Unitarian Universalist Church of the Desert in Rancho Mirage.

When: Thursday December 18th, 6:30 pm
Where: Indio Larson Justice Center, 46200 Oasis Street, Indio, CA. 92201
Who: Clergy leaders from eight local congregations and community residents
Why: To be in solidarity with the nationwide movement Black and Brown Lives Matter to address systemic racial injustice and violence in local and national communities of color.
