Aretha Franklin cancels Coachella Valley concert

Aretha Franklin will not make her scheduled Valentine’s Day appearance at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.

The resort announced the show on Saturday, February 14, 2015 at 8 p.m. has been cancelled.

Fantasy Springs Resort Casino management was informed late Friday night that the Aretha Franklin date had been canceled.

The resort did not give a reason for the cancellation. Franklin previously canceled concerts in 2013 and 2014 citing health reasons.

Ticket holders may receive a refund in person at the Box Office or via telephone (800) 827-2946.

Fantasy Springs Box Office hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily.
