Freeze Warnings & Frost Advisories in effect this weekend

A cold and dry airmass will bring temperatures down to near or below the freezing mark at times this weekend. The coldest temperatures for the deserts are expected Saturday night into Sunday.

Freeze Warnings have been issued for high desert areas from Morongo Valley past Twenytnine Palms, mostly along and north of Highway 62. Several hours of temperatures below 30 degrees are expected. Freezing temperatures and frost are expected throughout Joshua Tree National Park as well.

Frost Advisories have been issued for the Coachella Valley and Inland Empire.

Take action to protect sensitive plants by bringing them inside or
covering them up. Make sure pets have adequate shelter or bring them
indoors.

Check on any neighbors that do not have a source for heat.
