All clear given at storage facility
A scare at a storage facility in Palm Desert is over in Palm Desert.
Sheriff’s Deputies served a search warrant at Extra Space Storage in the 73700 block of Dinah Shore Wednesday night.
During the search they found what they thought to be hazardous materials and they called out the hazardous materials team.
The object that concerned deputies was determined to be safe.
No one was injured and there’s no word from authorities on why they were serving the search warrant.
