3 arrested for assault with deadly weapon in Desert Hot Springs
Desert Hot Springs Police say they arrested 3 people connected to an assault with a deadly weapon on Friday.
Around 11:00 a.m., police say they got a call that an assault was in progress in the area of Buena Vista Avenue and Verbena Drive. Officers arrived and detained one suspect and found two others a short distance away.
The three suspects were positively identified as the assailants by witnesses and arrested for assault with a deadly weapon. A fourth suspect was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant.
All adults were booked into Banning Jail, the juvenile was booked into Juvenile Hall. Desert Hot Springs Police are not releasing the names of the suspects at this time stating that one suspect is a juvenile and they are all related.
We also contacted Desert Hot Springs Police to clarify if this assault was a shooting, but our calls and emails were not returned.
The victim was taken to Desert Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
