Oleander fire in Indio

An investigation is underway into a fire near a mobile storage center in Indio.

The fire started just after 6:00 p.m. Wednesday in the 82-000 block of Indio Boulevard near Monroe Street.

Officials say a few 30 foot Oleander trees caught fire threatening around a dozen mobile storage unites.

Fire crews put out the flames quickly.

There are no reports of damage or injuries.
