Season 20 of Dancing With The Stars is underway
It was all glitz and glamour as season 20 of Dancing With The Stars went off without a hitch.
12 celebrities and their professional partners will battle it out on the dance floor weekly working for love from the judges and votes from the public
ABC’s Shark Tank billionaire Robert Herjavec got sevens across-the-board proving he’s not a shark out of water on the dance floor.
It was a standing ovation for 70-year-old Patti LaBelle she and her dance partner were graceful and elegant the judges sing her praises.
Palm Springs own Suzanne Somers and her partner Tony Dovolani got physical playing off the days when Somers pitched the Thigh Master on TV. They scored a 25 out of 40 not the lowest score but not a guarantee they will get another turn on the dance floor. Somers told us Palm Springs is home and she and her dancing partner are spending a lot of practice time in the valley.
Nearly 500 people came out to watch the live season premiere many had their favorites but one name kept coming up.
Derek Hough, professional dancer and winner of multiple mirror ball trophy’s is thrilled to be working with Olympic gold-medal is Nastia Liukin who is very competitive.
One of the biggest surprises tonight and the highest score went to Rumor Willis the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore. Willis and partner Val Chmerkovskiy wowed the audience and the judges say they set the bar.
