CBS Local 2 Telethon raises $145,000 for Find Food Bank
CBS Local 2 teamed up with The FIND Food Bank for the 6th annual telethon to help fight hunger in the Coachella Valley.
This year’s theme was Step up to the Plate, and the Valley did just that, helping us to top last year’s totals. “The money raised goes a long way, $1.00 equals 7 meals,” says Find Founder Lisa Houston.
Even though the phone lines are now quiet you can always still donate by logging onto the Find Food bank website at findfoodbank.org.
