Woman arrested for narcotics sales while out on bail
A Palm Springs woman who was out on bail after being arrested last October for selling narcotics, was just arrested again on the same charges.
The Coachella Valley Task Force served a search warrant in the 600 block of Canon Drive at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday and arrested 25-year-old Elizabeth Townley Fox.
Detectives said they seized heroin, Xanax, methadone, lorazapam, and evidence of drug sales in her residence. The search warrant was served as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation, according to the release.
Officers with the Palm Springs Police Department said Fox is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance for sale and committing a felony while out of custody on bail.
She pleaded not guilty to the charges on Thursday.
She’s being held at the Riverside County jail in Indio, in lieu of $50,000 bail, and is scheduled to appear in court for a pretrial hearing Tuesday.
