Cancer Cluster Forum held in La Quinta

A public forum in La Quinta tackled the topic of cancer at La Quinta Middle School. Scientists who claim there is evidence of a link between cancer and an electrical issue in some of the school’s classrooms, presented to a group of concerned citizens, including former students and teachers. The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office sent a representative to gather more facts on the scientific claims.

The representative made it clear that the District Attorney’s office has not found any criminal action. But, is open to gathering information in all situations and that is why they sent the representative to the meeting.

The California Brain Tumor Association organized the event and said it’s working to find a private attorney to represent the victims of cancer. Desert Sands Unified School District did not attend.
