Vacant home burns in Desert Hot Springs

No one was hurt in an early-morning fire in Desert Hot Springs, CalFire says.

The fire started around 5:30 a.m. Saturday on the 1000 block of Palm Drive in Desert Hot Springs.

CalFire reports the flames were contained to the attic of a single-story home that appeared to be vacant.

Twenty-one firefighters worked to put out the fire.

No reports of any injuries.
