2.5 magnitude earthquake shakes near Desert Hot Springs

The USGS reported a 2.5 magnitude earthquake hit around 9:45 Sunday night. It centered four miles northeast of Desert Hot Springs.

Viewers in Desert Hot Springs called into our newsroom saying they felt the small quake shaking their homes.
