Woman arrested for pimping 15-year-old runaway

A 33-year-old woman from Perris was arrested on Thursday after police connected her to an online prostitution advertisement that was showcasing a 15-year-old girl who recently ran away.

The investigation began on April 9 after the Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) received information that the 15-year-old runaway was possibly being sexually exploited in the Good Hope area in unincorporated Riverside County, officials said in a release.

Officers said in some of the online postings, the 15-year-old victim was seen with a woman who was later identified at Jamesha Katherine Glean.

The month-long investigation lead police to Glean’s residence in the 23100 block of Marshall Street in Perris. Deputies served a search warrant at her home on Wednesday, May 13.

Authorities said evidence related to the investigation was seized from her home. Glean also has five children. They were taken into custody by Child Protective Services.

Glean was booked into the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta on charges of human trafficking of a minor, pimping of a minor, maintaining a brothel, and child endangerment, according to the sheriff’s department.

Glean’s bail was set at $50,000.

The investigation continues. Anyone with more information regarding this case is asked to call Deputy Daniel Engels at (951) 955-1700.
