Suspect accused of burglarizing Palm Springs hotel twice
Police arrested two men on the evening of Wednesday, June 10 after discovering stolen property in their car that was taken from a hotel room in Palm Springs.
According to Lieutenant Mike Kovaleff with the Palm Springs Police Department, 20-year-old Nick Tulli and 19-year-old Adrian Navarro, both from Palm Springs, were taken into custody after they were pulled over near South Farrell Drive and San Mateo Drive.
Kovaleff said officers found property stolen during a hotel room burglary that occurred earlier in the night in the 1800 block of East Palm Canyon Drive. Police didn’t specify the exact hotel, but there are multiple hotels in that area, including The Saguaro.
Officers said Tulli was also found with a stolen laptop computer that was taken during a hotel room burglary from the same hotel in December, 2014.
Both Tulli and Navarro were booked into the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning. They both face charges of second degree felony burglary and Tulli is also charged with felony possession of stolen property, Kovaleff said in the release.
