Candle light vigil held for Desi Cechin

People from across the Coachella Valley filled a local gym to join in on a candle light vigil for local 6 year old Desi Chechin who is battling an aggressive form of cancer. A year ago Desi went to New York for treatment which worked for a couple of months and gave the family hope. But, the childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma showed up again in February of this year. Recent scans show the cancer is spreading in both of her legs. On Sunday Desi will be going to Loma Linda Medical Center for intensive treatment. Her family says this may be the last chance to save her life. The vigil was held at the Palm Valley High School Gym in Rancho Mirage. For those of you who couldn’t make it, you can leave a post on the “Believing for Desi” Facebook page.
