Palm Springs man arrested carrying stolen TV

A Palm Springs man was arrested Tuesday morning after police saw him carrying a TV that had just been stolen during a home burglary.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Rain Cloud Street around 10:20 a.m. to a report of a residential burglary in progress. They discovered evidence of the burglary and spotted a man in the 500 block of Calle Amigo shortly after, according to the Palm Springs Police Department.

The suspect, 33-year-old Anthony Pummill, was carrying a stolen TV that was taken from the home and officers said he was also in possession of methamphetamine.

Pummill was identified at the burglary suspect and officers took him into custody.

He’s facing charges of residential burglary, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance.
