Desert Hot Springs Police arrest wanted suspect

Desert Hot Springs Police say they arrested a wanted suspect after a brief stand-off Monday afternoon.

Police say that just after 11 a.m., the Post-Release Accountability Compliance Team (PACT) advised they were at a home on Sunset Avenue and 12 Street. The suspect, 36-year old Louie Pescador was inside an apartment and was not coming out. Police say he was armed with several guns.

Desert Hot Springs Police assisted the PACT Team and after several tries at calling him out of the apartment he finally emerged, and was arrested peacefully.

Pescador was taken into custody for a parole hold. After a probation/ parole search was conducted, several firearms and narcotics were located inside the apartment says Desert Hot Springs Police.
