Hiker rescued off trail above Palm Springs
An injured hiker was rescued Saturday off thethe trail above the west end of Ramon road in Palm Springs.
Palm Springs Mounted Police Search & Rescue responded to a call for an injured female hiker with a broken ankle.
The search and rescue team along with members of the Palm Springs Fire Department treated the hiker for her injury and carried her down to a waiting ambulance.
She was transported to Desert Regional Hospital.
