Valley non-profits fast pitch for funds
With hundreds of local non-profits serving Coachella Valley, a constant flow of funding can be a big challenge for some.
The Regional Access Project wants to help. It held a Nonprofit Communications Conference and Desert Fast Pitch at the Annenberg Center in Rancho Mirage Wednesday.
Up to $45,000 were up for grabs as six finalists delivered a 3-minute pitch to prospective funders.

Training for weeks, each finalist was provided a coach to help them deliver their pitch, a concise, compelling and effective message about their non-profit.
“Rather than just give them a grant, we feel it’s important for them to get training so they can learn something from this experience,” said Leticia De Lara, CEO of Regional Access Project Foundation.
