Man carjacked in Coachella after walking in on burglary
The Coachella Police Department is searching for two suspects who stole a man’s car after he surprised them during an in-progress burglary Tuesday afternoon.
Officers were called to a home in the 49000 block of Calhoun Street at about 3:20 p.m., sheriff’s Sgt. Randy Vasquez said. The victim told deputies he was conducting a property check at the home when he interrupted the burglary.

The witness described the first suspect as a Hispanic man, about 40 years old with a thin build, short dark hair and a mustache. He was wearing a gray and white striped shirt.
The second suspect was only described as a Hispanic man.
