FBI shares photos of missing Washington brothers last seen at LAX

Federal authorities circulated photos Wednesday of two Bellevue, Washington, brothers who went missing after flying to Los Angeles International Airport in August to see their mother, who is wanted in connection with their disappearance.

Sage Cook, 15, and Isaac Cook, 9, were last seen Aug. 28 at LAX, and may be in the company of their mother, 41-year-old Faye Ku, and their toddler half-brother, according to the FBI.

The older brothers had been spending most of the year in Bellevue, living with their father, who has full custody of the pair, according to the FBI. “Investigators believe Ku may have forged a `supervised visit’ court order, leading the children’s father to send them to California for a brief visit.”

A state felony warrant was issued in Washington for Ku’s arrest on suspicion of “custodial interference,” according to the FBI.

Sage may have been wearing one of two unusual T-shirts: a green T-shirt depicting the “Star Wars” character Darth Vader wearing a flower lei in a tropical location; or a black NASA T-shirt showing a mathematical equation and the words “be greater than average.”

Isaac may have been wearing a black T-shirt depicting the space shuttle Atlantis.

Anyone knowing their whereabouts was urged to call the FBI.
