Hundreds of classic cars roll into town

It’s a classic car enthusiasts dream come true in Palm Springs this weekend.

It’s the 59th annual McCormick’s Palm Springs auction, showing off collector cars and trucks.

More than 500 classic and exotic cars will be auctioned off to the general public.

The event happens twice a year, in November and February, and draws car collectors from around the world.

Cars drive in from as far as New York for the Palm Springs auction.

“We have 580 cars. We always sell out, and the economy in Palm Springs seems unaffected. You can see the bad weather across the country, but not here,” said auto action president Keith McCormick.

If you missed it, you and your family can take a closer look at the Spa Resort Casino Sunday.
