New Mayor and Council Members set to take-over in Palm Springs

Palm Springs Mayor-elect Rob Moon and Councilmen-elect Geoff Kors and J.R. Roberts will be sworn in during the city’s regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday night.

The current city council will certify the November election before the new swearing-in.

Robert Moon will replace out-going Mayor Steve Pougnet who has been at the center of conflict of interest allegations.

Kors was the top vote-getter in the council race as voters chose two members out of six candidates.
