Police are looking for a man and woman wanted in connection to a carjacking in Desert Hot Springs.

The crime was reported at about 10:55 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection
of Granada Avenue and Mequite Avenue, police Sgt. Daud Chang said.

Officers were told that a man, who was accompanied by a woman, pulled a
woman from her gold 1999 Dodge Caravan and threatened to shoot her, the
sergeant said.

The man then drove off in the minivan, while his female accomplice drove away in a newer model blue Cadillac sedan, Chang said.

The Caravan has a California license plate, number 7HOF669. Anyone with information is asked to call Desert Hot Springs police at (760) 329-6411.
