Update on trial of 2 Desert Hot Springs men accused in child porn ring

A criminal trial continues in Indio for two Desert Hot Springs men accused of child molestation and running a child porn ring.

A defense attorney for 37-year-old John David Yoder withdrew a request-for a month-long delay in the trial on Wednesday.

Jury selection for Yoder could begin as early as Monday, December 7th.

He was a licensed foster care provider and a special education assistant instructor for the Palm Springs Unified School District.

A Los Angeles-area man, Erick Monsivais is also facing charges.

A total of four men are accused in the 59-count indictment.
