Congressman Ruiz speaks about San Bernardino shooting

Congressman Raul Ruiz met with local law enforcement and faith leaders on Monday morning to address the terrorist attack in San Bernardino.

Officials said the gathering at Southwest Church in Indian Wells was aimed at taking steps to prevent possible acts of violence in our communities.

“The mass shooting that took the lives of innocent people and injured many more has shocked our district,” Dr. Ruiz said. “As a community we mourn, as a community we heal, and as a community we must work to prevent these acts of terror without losing our humanity.”

Ruiz began speaking at 11 a.m.
