Do you plan to give out holiday tips?

Etiquette experts say Americans who don’t tip during the holidays are committing a major holiday faux pas.

Thirty percent of Americans say they don’t plan to give out any holiday tips this year, according to a survey by Care.com.

This, despite the fact that etiquette experts say it’s important to do show others you are grateful for their service.

Survey respondents said they skip the tip because they can’t afford it (41 percent), they simply forget about it (29 percent) or they don’t think it’s necessary (34 percent).
