County Supervisor urges people to prepare for El Nino

Riverside County Supervisor John Benoit appeared on News Channel 3 at 6 and CBS Local 2 at 5:30 on Tuesday night discussing El Nino and last week’s terrorist attack in San Bernardino.

On El Nino, the Supervisor says the county is prepared for potential record breaking rainfall this winter and residents should also be prepared.

He suggests people get more information at http://rivcoready.org and http://fema.gov/el-nino

On last week’s terrorist attack, the Supervisor said it hit very close to home because most of the victims were San Bernardino county workers including one who had also worked for Riverside County.

The Republican also denounced recent statements by Donald Trump calling for a temporary ban on Muslims being allowed to enter the U.S..
