Police investigating shooting in Coachella
Coachella police are investigating a shooting that occurred just after 4:30 Friday afternoon.
The incident happened in the area of Jaderock Road and Hornblend Street.
Initial investigation revealed that a male adult fired several shots from a handgun at a passing black pickup truck.
Both the gunman and victim fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival.
Witnesses described the gunman as a male in his early twenties with dark hair.
