Tree knocked down by wind, crushes home in Moreno Valley
Gusty conditions whipped across the southland and created trouble in neighborhoods and on the roads.
Just west of the desert, winds knocked down a tree and crushed a house in Moreno Valley. One family was out of its home Saturday because of it.
Fire crews said a large tree fell partially onto the house and caused major damage. The one woman and two children living there are safe.
The American Red Cross was called out to help the family.
There were no reports of injuries.
