Bradley Camp: Pacquiao fight is “not” a done deal

Published reports say that Manny Pacquiao and local WBO Welterweight Champion Timothy Bradley will meet in Vegas, for round 3, later next year, but the Bradley Camp says they have not decided on their next bout.

KESQ/CBS Local 2 spoke with Tim Bradley’s wife Monica on Wednesday, who told us that they have not signed any contract and are not planning on meeting with anyone about Timothy Bradley’s future until after the first of the year.

“Right now the family is vacationing and enjoying the holidays, and we are not thinking about a future fight at this time.” says Monica Bradley. “We plan to sit down with Top Rank and look at the options for Timothy Bradley after the first of the new year. “

That was not the discussion miles away, as Pac-Man’s promoter Bob Arum announced that the two will meet for a fight in Vegas April 9th. “It’s a done deal and it’s going to be a third fight against Tim Bradley. We took a lot of consideration knowing Bradley has improved a lot as a fighter since the last time they’ve met in 2014,” Arum told The Manila Times .

Bradley first fought Pacquiao, in 2012, and won the bout by a controversial split decision. The local champ did not do as well in the rematch in 2014 losing the bout to Pacquiao.

Pacquiao recently turned 37 and he holds a 57-6-2(38) record. Bradley is 32 and his record reads 33-1-1(13).
