Eisenhower to host bone marrow drive to help local cancer victim

A valley man needs your help in his battle with leukemia. 24-year old Corey Rosenthal was first diagnosed with aplastic anemia when he was 10-years old. The cancer went into remission, and now 14 years later he is fighting his way through another diagnosis of leukemia, undergoing multiple chemotherapy sessions.

To treat and cure his life-threatening illness, he needs a bone marrow transplant. Corey is currently searching through the worldwide registry for matches.

On Monday and Tuesday, with the assistance of BeTheMatch.org, City of Hope and Internal Medicine Residents Stephen Yale, MD, and Ruth Kwong, MD, Eisenhower Medical Center is hosting a Bone Marrow Registry Drive for Corey.

The Bone Marrow Registry Drive will be Monday from 3-7pm and Tuesday from 11am-3pm at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower, 39000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage.

You can RSVP and find out more information about the Bone Marrow Registry Drive,
by calling Joyce Valdez at 626-373-4000.
