Florida man suspected of DUI & causing 3-car crash in Indian Wells

A 26-year-old man from Tampa, Florida was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of drunk driving after he was involved in a three-car crash on westbound Highway 111 at Indian Wells Lane.

The crash occurred just after 10 p.m.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Harrison Hunter Abramson collided with the vehicle in front of his, creating a domino effect as that vehicle then collided with the car in front of it.

Officials said all three of the cars were in the westbound No. 2 lane. Nobody in the second or third car was injured in the crash.

Investigators determined Abramson was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. He was booked into the Riverside County Jail in Indio after he was medically cleared from the hospital, deputies said in the release.
