Wet ‘n’ Wild Palm Springs looks to fill summer jobs

If you’re looking for a summertime job, Wet ‘n’ Wild Palm Springs may be able to help.

Officials said the water park will hold a hiring event on Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for applicants who can work during the daytime. All those interested should apply in the Guest Relations office at the park. The water park is located at 1500 S. Gene Autry Trail.

Over 100 positions are available.

According to the release, the water park will be looking to hire:

Lifeguards
Cash Control
Food Service Associates
Cabana Servers
Park Service Attendants
Warehouse
Merchandise Attendants
Security
Guest Relations Associates
EMT

For a majority of the jobs, applicants need to be at least 16 years old. Certain specialty positions do require applicants to be 18 years old or have a high school diploma or equivalent. All applicants must be available to work most spring and/or summer hours of operation.

Officials said the water park offers great seasonal benefits for its staff including flexible schedules, free park admission and tickets for family and friends.

Appointments aren’t necessary to attend the hiring event. Staff will be available to answer questions and complete interviews.

According to the release, Wet ‘n’ Wild Palm Springs has 13 water slides, a lazy river, a tidal wave pool, and a family tree house containing water slides, hose jets, water curtains and a 1,000-gallon water-dropping bucket.

Opening day is scheduled for March 12, according to Wet ‘n’ Wild’s website.
