High Wind Watch Issued

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a High Wind Watch which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Monday morning.

This means there is the potential for a hazardous high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 MPH or gusts of 58 MPH or stronger may occur.

The strongest winds will be in the higher elevations of the desert.

Gusty winds may make travel difficult for motorists in high profile vehicles.
