Traffic slow after 5 vehicle collision on Interstate 10 in Thousand Palms
Police and firefighters were cleaning up after a 5 vehicle collision Monday morning on Interstate 10 in Thousand Palms.
Traffic was backed up in the eastbound freeway lanes just west of Monterey Avenue nearly to Bob Hope Drive.
The collision happened at approximately 8:00 a.m.
There was no word on any injuries.
The eastbound slow lane was shut down to traffic as tow trucks and emergency responders worked in the area.
The traffic flow was slow, but already starting to improve at 8:45 a.m.
