Driver dies after rollover crash in Yucca Valley
A deadly rollover crash happened Thursday night in Yucca Valley.
San Bernardino County Firefighters were called to Yucca Trail and La Contenta Road at about 7:30 p.m. where they found a midsize sedan that had rolled over several times, resting on its passenger side, according to a news release.
The driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene and the passenger was airlifted by Mercy Air to Desert Regional Medical Center in stable condition after being partially ejected in the crash.
It took firefighters about 15 minutes to extricate the passenger with the jaws of life. The identity of the victim who died in the crash hasn’t been released at this time.
There’s no word what cause the rollover crash. The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.
