Fire burns Indio mobile home, leaves family without a home
A family in Indio is without a home after flames ripped through the family’s mobile home Sunday morning.
The fire sparked around 10 a.m. at the Bermuda Palms Mobile Estates on Highway 111 near Madison Street, according to CAL Fire.
Viewers told us about the fire and sent us video of the smoke. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to contain the flames.
No injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross was called out to assist the family.
