Six people out of home after La Quinta fire

Six people are out of their La Quinta home after it caught fire.

It happened yesterday just before 5:00, on the 52900 block of Avenida Martinez. That’s in the La Quinta cove.

Cal Fire got to a single-story home there and found smoke coming from the attic area. Firefighters say the source was smoldering insulation.

No one was hurt.
