12-year-old killed, 14-year-old cousin wounded in San Bernardino shooting

Police say a 12-year-old boy was shot and killed and his 14-year-old cousin was wounded as the pair walked to a convenience store in San Bernardino.

Lt. Rich Lawhead says someone in a dark-colored SUV opened fire Sunday night.

Lawhead says the 12-year-old collapsed while the 14-year-old managed to get to the store and call 911. The younger boy died at the scene. His cousin was treated at a hospital and released.

Lawhead says detectives have not identified a motive or released a suspect description.
