Desert Hot Springs woman dies after hit by motorcycle

Update 5:30pm The Riverside County Coroner’s Office identified the woman who was hit and killed by a motorcycle in Desert Hot Springs Saturday night. Lorraine Saucedo-Murillo, 50, of Desert Hot Springs was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center where she died from her injuries.

Desert Hot Springs police are investigating a deadly traffic collision involving a pedestrian and motorcyclist.

Saturday, around 9 p.m., officers responded to the 13200 block of Palm Drive.

According to witnesses, a woman walked out into the road in front of the motorcycle.

The motorcycle struck the pedestrian and the driver fell off of the bike.

The pedestrian and driver were taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.

Early Sunday the pedestrian succumbed to her injuries and died.

The driver of the motorcycle is in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries.
