Sunline bus involved in crash near Rancho Mirage HS
A Sunline Bus was involved in a crash Thursday afternoon near Rancho Mirage High School. The collision happened at about 3:40 p.m. on Ramon Road at Rattler Way.
KESQ & CBS Local 2 received photos from Samuel Bishop moments after the crash. The driver’s side rear of the Sunline Bus was damaged rather significantly, and a four-door sedan had damage to its front and rear.
Cal Fire officials said three people in the car sustained minor injuries in the crash, but all 30 passengers on the bus were fine.
The cause of the crash is under investigation. Traffic on Ramon Road was slow-moving in the area during the incident.
