Deputies arrest 2 men for armed robbery in Yucca Valley

Deputies have arrested a 26-year-old man from Yucca Valley and a 19-year-old man from Landers for their alleged involvement in an armed robbery on Wednesday morning.

Anthony Sibley, 26, and Michael Riddle, 19, are accused of walking into the Flyers Gas Station at 56269 Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley, and robbing the clerk at gunpoint at about 4:30 a.m, according to the sheriff’s department.

No shots were fired and the suspects ran from the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Investigators found evidence and information that helped identify the suspects as Sibley and Riddle. Sibley was taken into custody on Thursday and was arrested for armed robbery. Riddle was arrested on Friday for the crime.

They’re both being held at the Morongo Basin Jail for armed robbery and are each being held on $100,000 bail.
