Local women honored for business contributions
Some of the Valley’s brightest female businesswomen were honored Thursday for their hard work.
Palm Springs Life Magazine held the 4th annual Women in Business Awards at the Ritz Carlton in Rancho Mirage.
The first female president of Aston Martin The Americas was also on hand as the keynote speaker. Laura Schwab emphasized how success is achieved through being “true to yourself.”
Three local women were recognized for their contributions to the community as entrepreneurs, philanthropists and businesswomen.
Tracy Worthington, owner of Wink, Lash & Beauty Bar and Just Blow Drys, Barbara Keller, owner of Lulu California Bistro, and Carolyn Caldwell, CEO of Desert Regional Medical Center, all shared their experiences via a panel discussion moderated by CBS Local 2’s Brooke Beare.
