Palm Springs police close road for crash investigation
The Palm Springs Police Department posted a road closure on its Nixle page Wednesday morning for S Calle Encilia between Tahquitz Canyon Way and Arenas Road.
The road has reopened after police said it was expected to be closed for about two hours. Traffic is running smoothly in both directions.
According to authorities, the road was shut down to investigate a collision involving a motorcycle and a pedestrian which occurred this past weekend.
KESQ and CBS Local 2 is looking into the details of the crash and we expect to have more information Wednesday afternoon.
