Man hospitalized after Thousand Palms Shooting

One man was hospitalized Monday after an early morning shooting in Thousand Palms.

Riverside County Sheriffs Deputies were called to a home along the 30700 block of Roseview Lane, north of Ramon Road and Monterey Drive at 12:40 a.m.

A spokesman said deputies found a man there who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound.

He was rushed to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment where there was no word on his condition.

The Sheriffs Department spokesman said the shooting was under investigation and detectives were gathering more information.

No suspects had yet been named, and no arrests were reported.

The injured man’s name has also not been released.
