Public safety officials honored at pancake breakfast

Many first responders were honored at the first annual Public Safety Pancake Breakfast in Thousand Palms.

Assembly-member Eduardo Garcia hosted Saturday’s event that recognized public safety officers, firefighters and their families in appreciation for their continuous dedication and service to the community.

“It’s great to be able to take the morning say thank you to those in uniform and give them a nice little breakfast,” Garcia said.

Garcia also honored Indio Police Chief Richard Twiss for his 30 years of service to the city.
