New restaurant in Palm Springs is looking to hire
Are you looking for a job? There’s a new restaurant set to open in Palm Springs this fall, and operators held a job fair and community open house on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Grand Central Palm Springs is located at 160 La Plaza in Palm Springs and offers an American Contemporary menu. The restaurant will stand in the La Plaza Shopping Center — filling a spot previously occupied by Desmond’s Department Store.
Management is looking to fill about 50 prospective part-time and full-time jobs.
According to the restaurant’s website, operators are currently looking to fill the following positions:
Host
Cooks
Prep Cooks
Bartenders
Expediter
Servers
Bussers
Dishwasher
Don’t worry if you missed Tuesday’s event, officials said they will be offering more hiring opportunities in the near future. And the restaurant also plans to reveal menu and bar menu items in a few weeks.
