Overnight shooting in Cathedral City leaves victim wounded
One person was wounded in a possible carjacking-turned-shooting in Cathedral City overnight.
Police officers responded to the 31-400 block of Sky Blue Water Trail just before 11 p.m. Thursday.
One person was wounded, transported to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition as of early Friday morning.
CBS Local 2 and KESQ News Channel 3 viewers say the intersections of Sky Blue Water Trail, Baristo Road and Whispering Palms were shut down for several hours while police investigated.
Cathedral City Police would not provide any details about the shooting or if a suspect or suspects had been apprehended.
