Power outage had 2000 customers in the dark

Southern California Edison reports an outage in the city of Desert Hot Springs.

SCE says 1990 people were originally affectd, now its down to two customers.

The cause is due to a failed underground cable on Little Morongo Road and Two Bunch Palms, SCE says. Restoration time is around noon.
